Pernilla Österberg started her musical career at early age by composing her own music. Playing by ear, Pernilla never needed to play by notes. Doing this- Pernilla developed a certain skill to compose music suited to pictures and film which is very important in her creative work as a professional composer.
Setting up her own label, SCANDLIGHT PRODUCTION, many of her tracks are today continously used within eg TV commercials, Film & TV shows, documentaries, docu soaps, AV productions and websites etc.
Pernilla has during the years 2004-2007 also composed several albums for other worldwide distributed production music labels.
In 2008, Pernilla (together with Patrik Hinrichs) started up their own successful venture, AUX Publishing AB. AUX is one of the most growing sub publishers within production music in the Nordic territories, offering music from some of the most known labels within the industry, including UBM Media.
