Reinhard Schaub was born into a musical family in 1962. He entered the stage as a pianist at a very young age. His performances won him numerous awards in the field of classical music and jazz. After studying music and physics in his hometown Dortmund as well as in the city of Cologne, he launched his career as a keyboard player, bassist and music producer before eventually founding his own production company named Schaub Factory. Schaub composes for motion pictures, TV and advertisements (among his clients are BMW, Toyota, Telekom und the crime series Polizeiruf 110). In addition, he produces songs for bands and solo artists, for example Lena Meyer-Landruts second album Good Newswhich received platinum status in Germany.
