Matthias Krüger was only 12 years old when he entered the stage as a rock drummer for the first time. Later he preferred guitar and bass over the drums. After studying at the Munich Jazz School he went on tour with various jazz and rock bands. In 1997 Krüger joined the Klangraum studios for film music that Bernhard Hering and Martin Wester had established. In the course of the following years Krüger contributed to countless productions for different labels and broadcasters (ARD, ZDF).
Matthias Krüger still plays in various bands and works in the fields of sound design and sound engineering.
