Fast fashion describes the business model of many textile chains in the lower price segment. Their goal is to quickly produce trendy clothing items for little money and sell them cheaply. They react immediately to fashion trends, copy collections from other brands and offer them at low prices. The price for this is the catastrophic environmental and working conditions under which the garments are manufactured. Many consumers also only wear the clothing a few times or not at all.
